Torture

The human right i choose was torture. The reason i picked this was because the commerical really caught my attention, and i don't believe any child, adult human being should be tortured by anyone regardless the circumstance. You are born with the right that no one can torture you and no one should take that right from you. So I am going to do my work on this Human right and focus on Torture in Afghanistan and Iraq. [ Short story handed in on paper]

What is it about love that heals all wounds ?

I agree and disagree with this question, Love does heal some wounds but in the end it doesn't heal all wounds. I believe love heals wounds because the feeling you get when your in love or when being loved by someone. Love is an amazing thing and how it makes and feel is great. It make you happy and for the most part makes you forget about your issues, therefore in a sense healing your wounds. Love makes you a different person it makes a sad person a happy person, a happy person an extremely happy person. When suffering from something talk to the person your in love with or the person who loves you and things will seem a bit brighter.

How do people hide/escape from their problems ?

I believe people hide and escape from their problems by pretending their is no problem for the most part. I escape from my problems personally by pretending everything is peachy , keeping a smile on my face, and staying busy. Its harder to embrace your problem and face it then avoid it so avoiding it seems liek the best opition. I believe Amir will never escape his problems because his problems have been with him for years and he is still suffering from them.

“For you a thousand times over,” (Page. 305) Farid

Farid said this to Amir because he asked him a favor. When Farid said this it replayed memories about when Hassan said this to him and this caused Amir to cry. This quote it said a couple time throughout the book and all to Amir by people who truly care for him and are willing to saracfice something for him. When reading this quote its really deep "For you a thousand times over" if someone was to say this to me I would think the person saying it is telling me that they would do anything for him over and over again and have no problem with it. That is how it's said in the book these people are willing to do things for Amir over and over again because they care for him and dont mind, "For you a thousand times over."

Under what circumstances would you lie ?

I don't believe its OK to lie to someone under any circumstances, Unless it is truly life threatening. If someone is going to get hurt because of the truth then I believe that is a reasonable reason to lie. When you Love someone you dont lie to them but with this exception because when you Love someone you never want them to get hurt. I'd rather lie to someone and save their life then tell the truth and someone gets physically hurt. I believe that anyone can understand someone lying because of situation like this as apposed to lying for a unbenifical reason.
